Mealtimes at Camp Loma Mar are about more than food — they’re about community, care, and fueling adventure. Campers gather together for balanced meals that are both nutritious and kid-friendly, with plenty of options for even the pickiest eaters.

We are committed to supporting campers with allergies and special diets. Our kitchen regularly accommodates dairy, nut, wheat, soy, egg, and gluten allergies, as well as vegetarian/vegan meals. You are encouraged to note special needs during registration so we can provide the best care for each camper.

  • Fresh fruit is available every day, at every meal.

At every table, staff and counselors are present to ensure that campers eat well, feel supported, and enjoy the tradition of sharing meals together

Packing Tips & Camp Store

Unplugged for the Week

At Camp Loma Mar, campers do not bring or use cell phones. This policy allows kids to fully unplug, focus on friendships, and immerse themselves in the camp experience. It also helps reduce homesickness and ensures that camp remains a safe, inclusive environment for all.

If you have an extenuating circumstance or family situation, please contact the camp office and speak directly with a Director. We’ll work with you to make sure your camper feels supported while still honoring the camp experience.
