Early Learning Centers

When children are involved with a YMCA early learning program, they leave ready for kindergarten.  The Y’s Early learning kinder readiness programs are operated on an experiential learning philosophy—children learn by doing.  Daily lessons are created to boost development through age-appropriate activities, and stimulating hands-on experiences, with a balance of indoor and outdoor play. Healthy snacks and quiet time are included. All YMCA Early Learning Kinder Readiness programs are state licensed through the Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division.

Our program is designed for flexibility, convenience and accessability. We offer financial assistance and scholarships, flexible 3 or 5 day options and convenient locations at our partner school sites. All of our classes have qualified and caring teachers, small class size and are safe structured and family family.

Program Highlights include: Language Development, Creative Experience, Dramatic Play, Science/Discovery, Early Math/Literacy, Music and Movement, Healthy Habits, Gross/Fine Motor Skills, Global Learning, Sensory Play
