Are there any restrictions on how many people we can bring to camp?
Camp Arroyo has a 144 bed capacity, so that is the highest number of overnight guests we can have at camp. Camp minimums change a bit seasonally. November- March we require 40 people to reserve camp; April- mid June, September- December we require a minimum of 50 people. Smaller groups are welcome to still rent camp if they choose to pay for the minimum guaranteed number. Will there be another group at camp while we are there? (back to top)
Will there be another group at camp while we are there?
In order to secure exclusive use of Camp Arroyo, we require 90 participants during peak season (September- October, April- June) and in our non-peak season (November- March) we require 80 people. If multiple smaller groups want to book the same weekend we will work with the group leaders to plan use of shared spaces according to the group’s needs. (back to top)
How do I secure a rental date for my event/retreat?
Contact Camp Arroyo to inquire about available dates. We will issue a contract with the agreed upon date and put you on the calendar! We require a signed contract and 25% deposit 2-weeks after issuing the contract to hold all dates for groups. (back to top)

If more time is needed, you may be able to arrange it ahead of time, please just ask! What are the camp cabins like? Camp Arroyo has 12 cabins that house 12 people each, for a total of 144 beds. Can you accommodate food allergies/ dietary restrictions?

How do meals at Camp Arroyo work?
Typically we serve our meals family style. The kitchen prepares the food into large serving bowls with the appropriate portions for 10 people per table. The group should assign 1-2 people per table to retrieve the serving trays at the start of meal time. And when the tables are ready, seconds are also available! At the end of the meal, the group will need to clear the tables to the dish window & wipe off the dining tables. (back to top)
