The Early Impact Branch of the YMCA of the East Bay is seeking a dynamic School Age Site Director in Pinole.

Position Responsibilities

• Supervise children
• Develop and plan recreational educational activities
• Communicate with parents
• Run and operate the childcare site

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Child Development of ECE plus three units in Administration, plus 1 year of teaching experience OR
• 12 ECE units in covering Child Development; Child, Family, and Community; preschool curriculum, plus 3 units Administration, plus 4 years teaching experience OR
• AA in Child Development or ECE, plus 3 units in Administration, plus 2 years teaching experience OR
• Program Director or Site Supervisor Permit from Dept of Teacher Credentialing AND
• 15-hour CPR/First Aid Health and Safety course

Additional Information

• At least 21 years of age
• TB clearance, pre-employment physical examination
• Department of Justice, FBI clearance, and request for Child Abuse Index
• CPR/First Aid within time requested by Program Director
• Copies of all transcripts and proof of work experience will be required

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
