Child Care · Fremont/Newark YMCA

Tri V After SchoolAt Fremont/Newark, we strive to create safe, nurturing environments for children to learn, grow and develop social skills, so that when children aren't in the care of their parents, they're still with people committed to their development and well-being.

Kinder Readiness - Child Care Learning Centers: Ages 3-5 years

When children are involved with a YMCA early learning program, they leave ready for kindergarten.  The Y’s early learning kinder readiness programs are operated on an experiential learning philosophy—children learn by doing.  Daily lessons are created to boost development through age-appropriate activities and stimulating hands-on experiences, with a balance of indoor and outdoor play. Healthy snacks and quiet time are included. All YMCA early learning kinder readiness programs are state licensed through the Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division.
