Our 20+ Early Learning Centers engage and uplift children and families in the East Bay who face systemic social and economic injustices. Gifts to Early Care & Education provide resources that we can put to use immediately for our kids and families.

At the Y, we believe every child deserves a strong start in life — and every family deserves support along the way. Your gift to Early Care & Education helps provide essentials like diapers, formula, and healthy meals to children and families in need, and invests in our Early Educator Apprenticeship program, where community members are trained and supported to become skilled, compassionate early childhood educators.
Early Care & Education Stats
Our 21 Early Learning Centers across the East Bay provide high quality care and education for children and families in need.
1500 children in need receive high quality care and education from qualified, nurturing staff.
The Early Educator Apprentice Program has helped train and support over 300 apprentices as they complete community college coursework, receive paid on-the-job training, and earn their Child Development Associate Teacher Permit—all at no cost to them.

The annual report and donor walls are public information and only provide giving levels.
