And at the Oakland Y, our youth programs aim to do just that! Our summer classes and clinics are underway, but enrollment for Fall Programs opens up on July, 30th!

Youth basketball at Downtown Oakland YMCA is a fun and exciting way for kids ages 3-13 to make new friends and stay active.

Check out our summer clinics! Designed to teach individual skill development and teamwork, players are encouraged to improve their skills through in-house scrimmages and games with other local YMCAs.

Dance is a great way for kids to get moving, creating and express themselves. Our youth dance classes are for kids ages 3-12 and are available year round! Whether you are 2 or 92, dancing is good for the soul!
