WELCOME TO THE
WEST CONTRA COSTA YMCA
The West Contra Costa Branch of the YMCA of the East Bay has been serving the West Contra County community since 1918. The West Contra Costa YMCA has come a long way from its humble beginnings in a small location on MacDonald Avenue. Today we provide services at the following locations:
- Hilltop Family YMCA, a state of the art fitness facility
- Coronado Community YMCA, serving the needs of the Richmond community
- Rodeo Community YMCA, serving the needs of the Bayo Vista housing development, Crockett and Rodeo communities.
The West Contra Costa YMCA is proud to offer a diverse range of programs that serve our community and our members. The YMCA plays a major role in the development and health of our community. Not only do we offer various fitness classes for all ages at the Hilltop facility, we also provide child care programs for 15 elementary schools throughout West Contra Costa Unified School District and Alameda county; we offer after school programs at several locations, Childcare, Day Camp, Holiday Camps, Youth & Government, Y-Team Mental Health program, Healthy Kids Day and more! This broad array of programs enables us to reach a significant segment of our members.

WHO WE ARE
The West Contra Costa YMCA is a membership based, community service, not-for-profit organization. While the main facility is in Richmond, CA, programs and services reach every corner of the county and State.
Our mission as a branch of the YMCA of East Bay is to build strong kids, strong families, and strong communities by enriching the lives of all people in spirit, mind and body.
A unique aspect of the YMCA mission is that no one is turned away from a program due to an inability to pay. Financial assistance to every extent possible is made available through generous donations. Please call 510-412-5647 to request an application.
Mission Statement:
The YMCA of the East Bay mission statement is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy mind, body and spirit.
