Campers in Leadership Training · YMCA of the East Bay
Stay tuned for our
SUMMER 2017 Application
Who We Are
Campers in Leadership Training (CILTs) are youth entering grades 10-12 who want to develop leadership skills and learn about teamwork.
You can’t just teach leadership, you have to experience it. The CILT Program is a unique YMCA program that focuses on enhancing and developing valuable leadership skills in an environment that is fun, safe and values-oriented. CILTs are at camp for two weeks and receive hands-on experience through interactive training, the opportunity to help lead a small group of younger children, and engage in trust- and team-building activities with their peers. The CILT program is for teens who are looking for a fun and challenging way to spend part of their summer while gaining valuable leadership skills.
Where We Are
The YMCA of the East Bay has CILT programs at our Summer Overnight Camps located at Loma Mar (in the Pescadero Valley) and Ravencliff (in South Humboldt County along the Eel River.) This program is also available at Day Camps throughout the East Bay, including:

How To Apply
CHECK BACK FOR UPDATED FORMS AND DEADLINES.
When it is available, download and complete the application & reference forms. The deadline posted for applications will be a FIRM deadline. Failure to meet it may mean your application will not be considered. Applications are not reviewed until the deadline. At that time they will be reviewed and interviews will be scheduled if necessary. Applicants are typically notified if they are accepted into the program by mid-May.
CILT applicants should clearly indicate session preference and any specifics regarding date conflicts on the application. This program is extremely popular and limiting your session availability may reduce your chances of being accepted into the program. Session requests are not guaranteed.
