Education & Leadership · YMCA of the East Bay
At the Y we work every day to help kids set and achieve their personal and educational goals. The Y works with caregivers, students and schools across the country to close the achievement gap, improving students’ educational readiness, engagement and outcomes. We pilot new evidence-based programs and continue the programs, which have made us one of the leading nonprofits in youth development.
By helping them grow emotionally and physically, we help every child believe in their potential.
Our multicultural developmental programs are designed to meet the needs of the individual child. Our after school enrichment programs include language studies, tutoring, high expectations and goal setting. We also offer group parent activities such as seminars, workshops and meetings, as well as individual conferences to ensure harmony between the school and the home.
