Whether through karate, tae kwon do, jiu-jitsu or another form of this powerful sport, your child can use these skills throughout his/her life. Check below for our current martial arts program.

Tae Kwon Do


Tae Kwon Do teaches life skills, such as goal setting, integrity, confidence, discipline and respect. Beyond just kicks and punches, our instructor teaches skills to help your child succeed in all areas of life!

Please welcome back our Tae Kwon Do Master Marina Poyhar. Instructor Marina Poyhar is a 1st Dan Black Belt under the tutelage of Master Arnoldo Bolanos. A focused and dedicated student, Marina excelled in the sport receiving her black belt in Taekwondo in five years. Marina is an assistant instructor at Diablo Valley College and the Lead Instructor for Youth Taekwondo at the Hilltop Family YMCA. Marina’s teaching philosophy is that through the practice of Taekwondo, students develop confidence and perseverance essential to success. 

Developed in Korea, Tae Kwon Do is the most popular form of Martial Arts. Through Tae Kwon Do you will:
