Family & Recreational Swim

Swimming is a great way for the whole family to stay active and have fun! Family & Recreational swim is FREE for YMCA members. All children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult, 18 or older, at all times. Children age 13 and up may enter without adult supervision. Family & Recreational Swim can take up to 2 lanes. No outside flotation devices including life jackets, floating swim suits or water wings are allowed at any time. Learn More!

Junior Lap Swim (ages 13–16)

Children who wish to lap swim can become Junior Lap Swimmers by taking the swimming test. The swimmer must be able to swim four consecutive laps, two of which must be freestyle. For more information, or to schedule a time to take the test, contact Gisell Jimenez at gjimenez@ymcaeastbay.org.

Private Swim Lessons (All Ages)

The YMCA has been teaching swim lessons for over 100 years! Our classes focus on allowing children and adults to progress at their own pace while teaching them swimming skills in an environment bases on the YMCA's core values of Honesty, Respect, Responsibility, and Caring. SPLASH Week

SPLASH is a week long water safety class. It is designed to teach children how to be safe around water (Swimming Pool and open water). We start with an introduction to the YMCA, with a tour of the facility and an introduction to safety in and around water. Registration Deadline is April 1. Reserve your child's spot now!
