At the Hilltop Family YMCA, attention is paid to those with arthritis and those who need gentle, modified movement and exercise. Whatever your mobility, at the Y we have a group exercise class for you.

Arthritis Foundation Land Program

This class is designed for anyone with arthritis or related rheumatic diseases, or other musculoskeletal conditions ranging from people who are very limited by impaired joint mobility to those who are relatively active with only mild joint involvement. this class is taught by an Arthritis Foundation and YMCA certified instructor. This is an ongoing program throughout the years. Program fees apply. Check Schedule

Lite & Lively

This class is deigned for people with a minimal fitness routine. Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activity for daily living skills. A Chair can be used for seated and standing support. Check Schedule.

Sit & Be Fit

Specifically for individuals with limited movement and level of fitness. Class is taught seated and without impact to the lower extremities. Class is held in Studio B. Check Schedule.

Beginning Iyengar Yoga

A form of Hatha Yoga that focuses on safety and alignment, making it accessible for people of all agers through the use of props and careful individual instruction. Check Schedule

Stretch & Flex

Build flexibility, reduce muscle tension, and enhance overall body awareness and relaxation. All levels of fitness are welcome. Check Schedule.

Tai Chi Chih

This class consists of slow and rhythmic movements designed for stress relief, physical and mental balance restoration, and injury recovery. This class is recommended for beginning level participants. Check Schedule.
